The dimensions fit the above, albeit maybe 2mm too long, but a bit of coarse sandpaper soon shortened them. Now back in action!
Most people would have dumped their old mower when it refused to work. So, I dismantled a few parts to discover all it needed was a new pair of carbon brushes. This supplier quickly dispatched them and within a few minutes, after fitting, I was mowing again with my ‘new’ mower.

Prompt arrival. Followed the instructions to trim down the carbon. Works a treat. The carbon is removed very quickly with a metal file, so use wet and dry to finish off.

I have a Bosch Rotak 340C. Bosch don't do replacement brushes so its a whole new motor, which I found isn't far off a new mower, so~£100, and likely beyond me. I did a search for suitable brushes and found TopDealsOnline. They checked out as being very good, and the price (included postage) was very competitive. The site is very clear you need to check your brushes look the same, and they help you with that through good images of the brushes you're buying, ability to zoom in on them, and the dimensions. Ordering them was easy. I got emails confirming everything, and my receipt as promised. The brushes took about a week to turn up, and are near identical to the Bosch ones, so very easy to replace. Took me about 30mins to do as I was being careful. Switched the mower on and it worked. It sounds like new too, which has pleased me. I'm very fussy about quality and service, so can usually find room for improvement but in this case I can't, because it was spot on. I would strongly recommend this company to my family and friends, and will definitely use them again
